I can’t leave this city
The train hasn’t stopped yet,
It’s engine just started to run
You can move and compare
And compile reasons why I’d care
Wipe the snow from your hair to reveal true character
Should I hop the greyhound n leave with no place in mind?
It’s hard to leave a city, when it has a face you think about all day, all the time
I don’t reference the skyline, although it is a beaut, I refer to the characters here, one in particular who is cute
I can’t leave this city,
Even if I had a chance, n opportunity, and it was all paid for,
Nothing is for free, just ask a whore
So the city trapped me,
N I the city
Too bad I’m too sad,
Expecting some kind if pity
I’ll just roll with the punch and rejoice in my city
